PACE mental health workers provide brief individual support to people living with Anxiety Disorders, Panic Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or Eating Disorders (this includes providing individual support to carers). PACE individual support provides short term conversational support with a mental health worker, face to face or via phone/video call.
PACE workers provide information about relevant mental health conditions (psychoeducation), potential treatment options and referral suggestions. PACE individual support does not provide therapeutic or clinical treatments for mental health disorders but does provide a safe and supportive environment to discuss mental health experiences and recovery goals.
