The Administration Assistant is responsible for provision of administrative support to the Managers and teams located at the site to deliver responsive, flexible and effective services in the community.  The position is also responsible for provision of telephone reception support to staff, clients; other services and the community.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Administration Assistant to provide administration and reception support from 8.45 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday to our Seaton site. The successful candidate will have an excellent telephone manner and sound computing skills, as well as experience in the provision of high quality customer service to staff and clients.

headspace Woodville provides free services to young people aged 12 – 25 years in the areas of:

The Youth and Community Engagement Officer is responsible for promoting youth participation and raising awareness about the service and youth mental health.

They will facilitate and support the Youth Reference Group and contribute to the promotion of the service through engagement with the youth sector, develop and engage in health promotion activities and develop content for social media and the website in collaboration with the rest of the team.

The Youth and Community Engagement Officer will also support the work of the broader team to ensure successful engagement with young people, private providers, consortium staff and other stakeholders, including administration tasks.

Personal Helpers & Mentors Service (PHaMs)

Centacare’s Personal helpers and Mentors service provides Psychosocial Rehabilitation services within a Recovery framework to people living with a mental illness. Support Workers provide one on one or team support to individuals.

Support Workers will work with the individual to assist them to develop individual recovery and wellness plans and provide support in implementing them.

Critical to the success of this program will be the knowledge of Mental Health Services, case management and assessment knowledge, and strong partnership building skills. Central to recovery paradigm is the inclusion and empowerment of consumers for whom recovery is significantly more than the absence of symptoms. (Ellis 2003). Centacare Personal Helpers and Mentor services are consumer centred.

This position is outreach with the office based at Salisbury.
