‘SCAS’ is an information session for separated parents to clarify, understand and adjust strategies to manage the changes in their family. It enables parents to hear the latest researched information about what works for children; share with others what is different now that their family has changed; understand developmental stages and needs of their children; communicating respectfully with the other parent about the children; and identify what may be getting in the way of working with the other parent.
This two hour information session is for any parent who has or is separating. The focus of this session is on supporting children and exploring ways in which parents can do this positively. This program is orientated towards the needs of children and focuses on parenting. It is not designed for adults to resolve their personal experiences related to the end of their relationship, referrals for individual support can be discussed. Bookings essential.
