The relationship between a child and their father is a special one – and some Dads need some extra support.
Fathers and Families Support is a Communities for Children program. We provide a flexible outreach service by using soft entry points to engage with families. This includes vulnerable and disadvantaged families, those experiencing social isolation and a range of personal and economic barriers to community participation.
Through a variety of different mediums including educational, recreational and physical activities the program builds resilience, life skills and wellbeing of children; increases positive parenting skills; strengthens family relationships; facilitates support to families at risk; builds community capacity and improves community connection.
